Nik Moore, managing director of SPG Mowers, is very pleased to become a Farmtrac dealer.

SPG Mowers in Lymington, Hampshire, is the latest Farmtrac dealer to have come on board having been recommended the brand of tractors from a fellow dealer and friend.

The recommendation by Tim Wall, managing director at Hertfordshire Garden Machinery, to Nik Moore, managing director at SPG Mowers, was all it took for Nik to investigate Farmtrac further, and he ended up liking what he saw.

Nik says: “The build quality and components being used were two of the things that most appealed about the brand, as well as the highly competitive price point. The extensive range of products made available was also superior to that of competitors and existing suppliers, allowing us to serve a wider audience and cater to customers’ every need.”

Working with Reesink Agriculture has revealed to be a great opportunity for Nik, who already knew it to be a very respected distributor, he says: “Reesink is a well-organised, professional company with the staff and can-do attitude that are invaluable when organising demonstrations and orders.”

Nik’s customers have been more than pleased with the options available, with Nik explaining: “So far we’ve sold a few FT26 models, and we have the all-electric FT25G on order for imminent delivery, along with some SICMA finishing mowers and a flail mower.”

The tractors Nik has opted for are both from the compact line and ideal for multiple applications. As with other products from Farmtrac, they are highly sought-after for their eco-friendliness and great performance rolled into a smaller package. Made of top-selling components by two of the most reliable companies in the market, Mitsubishi and Carraro, they are a fine choice to deliver any job with confidence.

The FT26 has sold well for lots of reasons, but among many are the selectable 4WD, hydrostatic power steering and folding ROPS for first-class performance and security for the operator while maintaining ease of use and versatility. Available with an abundance of SICMA attachments, also available from Reesink Agriculture and designed to give customers even more value from their tractor investment, no job is too big or too small for this robust machine, whose 750kg lift capacity and rear three-point linkage combined make for an important asset to any equestrian or paddock owner.

The FT25G is the industry’s first new all-electric tractor, producing zero emissions and minimal noise, and boasting a 72V lithium-ion battery and onboard charger. It appeared on BBC’s Countryfile and the world’s number one clean energy and electric vehicle channel FullyCharged, quickly becoming a favourite among dealers across the UK and Nik has high hopes for a similar reaction with his customers too.

Steven Haynes, tractor sales manager for distributor Reesink, says: “Hertfordshire Garden Machinery was our first dealer to come on board soon after we launched the brand in the UK, and it’s great to hear Tim is now recommending the brand to others.

The ability to add in a variety of tyres – from agricultural to turf to industrial – allows the operator to work on a multitude of terrains without the need for different machines, which is another advantage for anyone looking to cut down on costs and increase efficiency according to the company.
